Poppy, Keeper of the hammer, is a determined yordle girl with some sensational skins. From her dark days as a knight and her blacksmith beginning, she still remains strong-willed. In this skin review, you’ll find out the worst to best skins from this cute little Yordle.

Table of Content show
1. Noxus Poppy
2. Lollipoppy
3. Blacksmith Poppy
4. Ragdoll Poppy
5. Battle Regalia Poppy
6. Scarlet Hammer Poppy
7. Star Guardian Poppy
8. Snow Fawn Poppy
9. Hextech Poppy
Conclusion

1. Noxus Poppy

Noxus Poppy is a pretty straightforward skin. Poppy is dressed in black and wearing black makeup, the skin goes for a darker aesthetic. Poppy looks more vicious than ever but somehow keeps her personality. For the price of this skin, it’s perfect for you Poppy lovers.

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles

Cons

  • No new animations
  • No new sounds

The price of this skin is 520 RP.

2. Lollipoppy

Lollipoppy has some defining characteristics, mostly being her weapons. Her hammer is changed into a lollipop and her buckler is a bar of chocolate. Clothing is associated with the color of sweets. Her personality is established and is considerably appealing. The theme is thoughtfully executed and pleasant. Lollipoppy immensely expresses her youth and playfulness. However, the price is a bit high for a re-modeled look, but it’s still rather charming.

Pros

  • Major Model changes
  • New particles
  • New animations

Cons

  • No new sounds

The price of this skin is 975 RP.

3. Blacksmith Poppy

Blacksmith poppy is a skin that finely represents her history as a blacksmith. Poppy opts for a more simple and practical look for a smithy. The leather helps portray the theme of a blacksmith and the tool belt, apron, cap, and visor all symbolize the Blacksmith poppy, this always travels to her hammer. It’s a fitting and appealing look for Poppy. It manages to present her with a rough style. For the price, it should offer more features, but it’s a nice skin.

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles

Cons

  • No new animations
  • No new sounds

The price of this skin is 975 RP.

4. Ragdoll Poppy

Ragdoll poppy has an allure to it, as it suits her cartoony style. Her clothes and appearance are more suggestive than anything. Her hair is yarn being the most apparent representation of a rag doll. However, this only does so much to fulfill the theme. It’s a lighthearted skin but it doesn’t have that many features.

Pros

  • Major Model Changes
  • New Particles
  • New sounds

Cons

  • No new animations

The price of this skin is 975 RP.

5. Battle Regalia Poppy

Battle Regalia Poppy styles Poppy in armor that is sensibly designed. Her design is unstable as it goes from dull to an overabundance of decoration. It’s a wonderful skin if you can ignore some things and if you’ve ever envisioned Poppy as a knight then you shouldn’t ignore it. It has an attractive concept, it’s appealing and it has a really low price, so this is a good option for Poppy.

Pros

  • Major Model Changes
  • New hammer

Cons

  • No new animations
  • No new sounds

The price of this skin is 520 RP.

6. Scarlet Hammer Poppy

Scarlet Hammer Poppy turns the yordle girl into a ruthless warrior in red. She may look fierce and vicious but she doesn’t look like Poppy. The armor has a fine look, the design of the helmet is a little impractical, the hammer helps suit the theme. Poppy bears a fearsome look but unfortunately, this eliminates her fun and playful personality. While it does change Poppy’s identity, it’s a good skin for you Poppy fans that want her to look like a warrior of destruction

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles

Cons

  • No new animations
  • No new sounds

The price of this is 975 RP.

7. Star Guardian Poppy

Star Guardian Poppy manages to respectfully keep her warrior feel. The sailor-based costume with golden metal boots, gold-lined cauldrons, and hammer give the Star Guardian look. The skin keeps her normal skirt, keeping her battle feel. It’s a very appealing skin that manages to adapt the warrior into a warrior magical girl, this keeps her personality that sets her apart from the other Star Guardians. With all this, it still lacks something to make it really unique. Fans of Star Guardians will have what they expected with this skin.

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles
  • New animations
  • New sounds

Cons

  • It’ll make you feel fabulous at all times.

8. Snow Fawn Poppy

Snow Fawn Poppy fulfills the theme, with antlers, ears, and ponytails that look comparable to deer tails. She has a large bell that helps with the theme as well as the hammer. It’s a charming skin for Poppy that keeps her wonderful personality intact. It has flaws with the costume magic, but other than that it’s a good skin for Christmas.

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles
  • New animations
  • New sounds

Cons

  • Will have you feeling all holly jolly in the middle of summer

The price of this skin is 1350 RP.

9. Hextech Poppy

Hextech Poppy adopts a steampunk look. It’s pretty similar to the Classic Poppy as the model didn’t deviate from it too much. The new recall has Poppy work on her hammer to use it as a propeller to make her fly. The interpretation isn’t anything too out of this world and seems a little weak. Hextech Poppy results in an appealing style but lacks depth.

Pros

  • New model
  • New particles
  • New animations
  • New sounds

Cons

  • It’s a promotional skin

The price of this skin is Promotional (forge 10 gemstones or reroll skin shards and permanents in Hextech Crafting).

Conclusion

Battle Regalia Poppy is the recommended skin, it manages to change her into a proud knight successfully. The theme isn’t perfect but it’s still rather attractive. Star Guardian Poppy is also recommended, it’s expensive but intriguing. The model, particles, sound, and animations do great but it’s nothing too sensational. It’s a great choice for you Poppy lovers.

If you want a skin stripped of Poppy’s identity, then Scarlet Hamer Poppy is the one for you. The concept isn’t anything too extraordinary. However, it’s still a nice skin that lacks her personality. Blacksmith Poppy presents her history perfectly. It still provides the childish personality that we all know and love Poppy for. So if the opportunity presents itself, I recommend buying Blacksmith Poppy at a legacy sale.

Ragdoll Poppy is a fitting skin for her as she always has a cartoony feel to her. If you’re not searching for many features, it’s a wonderful skin that is appealing. Lollipoppy is a skin that is alluring and charming. The skin perfectly suits her indemnity. It’s a little expensive but it’s still a wonderful option for you.

Noxus Poppy is skin that has a modest concept with a result that is attractive. It may be lacking but it has a reasonable price. Snow Fawn Poppy is a magical costume that suits her, with a feel of playfulness and charm. The skin lacks a connection with the snow, but other than that it’s a nice skin. Hextech Poppy is an average skin although appealing, that keeps her warrior essence.  It’s a lovely design but nothing that sensational, it feels as if the skin gave up. It’s nothing worth trying too hard for.
