New Starfield details revealed
A new wave of information is flooding the internet as Bethesda has just revealed new details about Starfield’s lore. For the first time since the Starfield Direct event on June 11, there are fresh insights into the anticipated RPG. Bethesda has released three animated short films, offering a detailed look at various locations in the game, highlighting their unique features and dangers.
Insights into Akila City and Neon
One of these short films is set in Akila City, the capital of the Freestar Collective, which, despite its idyllic atmosphere, is repeatedly plagued by raider attacks. Another leads to the neon-lit cyberpunk paradise Neon, built on a massive fishing platform and hosting a strong presence of the shady company Ryujin Industries. This location, too, harbors its own dangers and secrets.
Insight into the lives of the characters
The animated short films, which have a combined running time of just over eight minutes, offer a fascinating insight into the lives of the characters on some of Starfield’s over 1000 planets. One of the films, for example, tells the story of a courier pilot from the United Colonies, seeking adventure in the vastness of space, far away from New Atlantis, the capital of the United Colonies, which is considered “the most coveted part of the settled systems.”
