Glacial Augment essentially creates a slow zone around that enemy target and reduces their damage towards your allies upon you applying crowd control to a target. This rune is extremely powerful for engaging as you can catch up to your enemy. Additionally, this benefits you by reducing the enemy damage by a significant amount for a duration, allowing you to burst your enemy much faster than they can anticipate. This keystone is great with support champions who have crucial crowd control abilities to assist their ADCs. It belongs to the Inspiration tree.

1. Nautilus

Nautilus is one of the best support champions in League of Legends. His kit allows him to lock down any champions in LoL. Nautilus can proc this keystone using three different abilities. As Glacial Augment activates upon applying crowd control abilities to an enemy champion, Nautilus can use his passive ability Staggering Blow, Dredge Line (Q), and Depth Charge (R) to hard CC a target and lock them in place. Staggering Blow empowers Nautilus’ basic attacks with bonus damage and the ability to root any target upon the first auto-attack. Nautilus’ Q, Dredge Line, hurls his anchor in the target direction that stops upon hitting an enemy and terrain.

Upon hitting an enemy champion, he dashes toward them, knocking them up and rooting them for a duration. Finally, Nautilus’ ultimate, Depth Charge, sends out a Depth Charge that chases a target and creates eruptions on its way. Enemies caught in the eruptions are knocked up and stunned.
