There’s a simple method to play discretely if you don’t want to be disturbed by your buddies on Valorant. Although there is no official method to make oneself seem offline in Valorant, it is possible to appear online to friends. ‘Deceive‘ is a third-party software that allows you to remain hidden from your pals.

By restricting connections to Riot Games’ social servers that control your friend list and communications, the software may allow you to appear as though you are offline on Valorant. However, your connection to the game is not affected.

Appear Offline in Valorant Using Deceive

Riot Games has not deemed Deceive to be dangerous, and the software is a third-party app. While you will not be banned for utilizing the map, Riot Games may prohibit usage of the app in the future. Since last year, players have been using it on games such as League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and other Riot Games titles without encountering any problems. It does not modify your game files or violate any terms of service at the current version (v1.10).

Keep your version of Deceive up to date at all times in order for the app to function with the most recent versions of Valorant. If you don’t, the functionality may malfunction at times. Here’s how to get and use Deceive for Valorant:

Head to: https://github.com/molenzwiebel/Deceive/releases/tag/v1.10.0
Scroll down and download Deceive.exe
Right Click on Deceive.exe > Click on Create Shortcut
Right click on the shortcut you just created
Click on Properties.
In the Target section, add an extra space after .exe and type Valorant.
Click on Apply and then Ok
To launch Deceive, right-click on the shortcut and click on ‘Run as administrator’

To discover whether Deceive is running and whether you appear offline in Valorant, simply check your message history to see if there’s a status message from the software. Always keep an eye on for updates to the software whenever a Valorant patch is released, since updating Deceive may be required to make it compatible with future patches.
