Greg Street had been part of Riot Games for a long time

It was a sad day for League of Legends fans when Greg Street, better known by the nickname “Ghostcrawler,” parted ways with Riot Games. Street had been part of Riot Games since 2013 and held roles from Head Designer to Executive Producer over the years.

He helped develop League of Legends into the game we know today before announcing his departure on March 7th, 2023. League of Legends is now one of the most popular video games ever made with millions of players around the world and many players are as thankful to Ghostcrawler as they are to anyone else involved with League.

It will be interesting to see where Ghostcrawler goes next and what impact his work has on the gaming world in years to come.

His team will build the League of Legends MMORPG without him
