Season 12 is going strong in League of Legends and if you are planning to start jungling, we’ll show you what jungler you should main in season 12. There are tons of good champions that you can use in the role but there are some exceptional ones that will win you more games and give your team an advantage.
If you are looking to main a jungler in season 12 of League of Legends, you should play Rek’Sai, Fiddlesticks, Wukong, Volibear, Zac, and Trundle.
These are some of the best junglers that not only are quite strong right now but also have a high win rate in the game. If you are not planning on picking them, you should either ban one of these champions so that they don’t come to the enemy team. With that said, let’s find out why these are some of the best junglers right now and why you should main them in season 12.

Rek’Sai
Rek’Sai is quite strong right now due to receiving buffs. On top of that, some of the items that you would make on Rek’Sai are strong right now as well. She is an interesting champion that has two sets of abilities – burrowed and unburrowed.
In her unburrowed state, her Q empowers her auto attacks for the next three attacks. This is a good way to deal a good amount of damage quickly since you will also have increased attack speed during this. Her W burrows Rek’Sai, giving you a new set of abilities – but we’ll talk about that later. Your E causes Rek’Sai to furiously bite the target, dealing more damage.
While in her burrowed state, Rek’Sai has reduced vision but can see if there is any movement or not. Now, your Q fires a projectile that deals decent damage but marks the enemy so that you can use your R. Your W will unburrow Rek’Sai and will knock up anyone near you. Your E allows you to make a tunnel that will allow you to travel through walls and gap close to the enemy.
Finally, your R makes you untargetable and instantly latch on to the enemy and deal damage to them. However, you need to have to damage the enemy before using your R. The best way is to use your Q to mark them from a distance and use your R to deal the finishing blow.
Fiddlesticks
After getting reworked, Fiddlesticks is a superb champion that is great at teamfighting and scaring the enemy. Your passive allows you to place a ward that is disguised as you. This ward acts like a control ward and will start using an ability or something else when discovered. This will confuse the enemy as they will think that it is the real Fiddlesticks.
Fiddlesticks Q fears a targeted champion. This ability is useful if you use it on an ADC or the enemy jungler to CC them for a bit while you can either run away or deal additional damage.
Your W is what you’ll use to sustain in teamfights. Fiddlesticks drains everything near him and heals himself. This forces the enemy to either use CC on you or runs away so that you cannot drain them anymore.
Your E will deal damage in an area that will also silence any enemy hit. Also, keep in mind that if you are unseen, all of your abilities will fear the enemy when you hit them with it. Use this ability to poke the enemy before engaging.
Finally, your R is what makes Fiddlesticks a good jungler and a teamfighting monster. After charging for a short duration, Fiddlesticks will teleport a short distance and constantly deal a lot of damage to nearby enemies.
Wukong
After the recent buffs, Wukong is at a great spot and has a high win rate. The rework to his W now allows you to jump over walls while leaving your clones behind. This not only provides you with more mobility but also lets you gank from more directions than before. On top of that, your Q deals a lot of damage since it is essentially an empowered auto attack.
You can also use your E to gap close quickly and gain attack speed so that your Q cooldown comes back quickly after each auto attack. Finally, the rework on R is great since you can now knock the enemy up twice. While the damage of your R is decent, the main part is the knock up which will leave the enemy useless for the time being. If you have a team that can easily follow up your ultimate, you are almost always guaranteed to win the fight.
Volibear
Volibear has been going surprisingly strong for quite some time now since he isn’t getting nerfed. Voli is a good tanky jungler that provides a lot of utility in terms of CC for his team. His ganking potential is quite high and he can have a strong presence since the start of the game.
His Q allows him to run on all fours and move faster. Once he hits an enemy in this state, they will be stunned for a brief moment. Voli’s W is a ferocious bite that deals a good chunk of damage depending on how much HP the enemy is missing.
When you use his E, he calls down lightning from the sky that not only deals damage in an area but also grants him a shield if he is in it. The best way to use this ability is to cast it right after you hit your Q so that your enemy cannot run out of the area.
Finally, your ultimate causes you to jump and become large. Not only do you gain more HP but also disable any turrets in the area. This is a great tool for ganking at level 6 since you cannot be attacked by the turret for a while.
Zac
If you want a jungler that can gank from a long distance and is quite tanky, Zac is the best champion for you. His Q allows him to stretch his hands and grab a target. If you attack something else while grabbing the enemy, you will pull both of the targets together. On top of that, your W deals damage in an area next to Zac if the enemy gets too close.
Your E is what makes Zac a great jungler. Zac jumps a long distance and when he lands, he knocks up everything in that area. You can gank from any direction since this ability has a long-range when you level it up. This will scare the enemy since you can gank while never being visible to wards.
Finally, your ultimate allows Zac to jump three times, knocking enemies aside and slowing them. This is a great ultimate to use while ganking or in teamfights. The entire enemy team can get displaced if you use your abilities correctly. All of this makes Zac a massive threat to the enemy team.
Trundle
Finally, Trundle has seen a lot of popularity recently thanks to getting buffed directly and indirectly via items. Now, Trundle can deal a lot of damage while having the sustain thanks to his ultimate and lifesteal. His Q causes Trundle to bite the enemy, dealing additional damage to them.
Trundle’s W makes a frozen area that gives him increased movement speed, attack speed, and healing. While in this area, Trundle becomes extremely strong and the enemies are forced to run away if they want to survive or fight you. His E erects an ice pillar from the ground that slows all enemies nearby and knock up any enemy that is directly hit by it. The range is quite decent so you can use this to slow the enemy while ganking them so that they don’t run away. Follow this up with your W and you are bound to catch up to the enemy in no time.
Trundle’s R is what makes him a strong fighter, especially in the jungle. It is a point and click ability that when cast, will steal armor and magic resist from the target. On top of that, you gain those stats, making you even stronger while making the enemies weaker.
